| End-of-Life Product |
| The following guide is regarding an End-of-Life product that is no longer in production. Replacement parts and components may no longer be available for request or purchase. |
This guide will cover removing the AIO from the H1 (2019) case. Before continuing, please be sure to follow the guide below to remove the panels from your case:
For this guide, you will need the following tools:
- Phillips #1 Screwdriver
- Side Cutters/Flush Cutters
- Thermal Compound (if your replacement does not have pre-applied thermal compound).
With the panels removed, remove the two screws shown in the image below to open the case door and access the Motherboard Tray.
With the motherboard tray opened, do the following depending on the type of Motherboard socket your PC was built with:
- AMD - Loosen the two thumb nuts to release them from the mounting brackets, then remove the cooler cap (shown below).
- Intel - Remove the four thumb-nuts surrounding the CPU cooler, then remove the cooler cap.
With the cooler cap removed, remove the four screws securing the radiator to the case door as shown below:
If you are replacing the fan, remove the four screws securing the fan to the radiator as shown below:
Once the screws are removed, break the zip-tie holding the Pump and Fan cables together using your flush cutters.
Follow the provided steps in reverse to re-install your cooler. If your replacement cooler does not have pre-applied thermal compound, use a pea-sized amount centered on the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) of the CPU and install the cooler. Mounting pressure will cause the thermal compound to spread.
