My Gaming PC is out of warranty, can I still get technical support?
NZXT offers free lifetime technical support for all Gaming PCs, even if your warranty has expired. This support includes technical support advice and troubleshooting assistance, however this does not include post-warranty repair or replacement service.
Does NZXT offer out-of-warranty repair or upgrade services when my warranty ends?
At this time, NZXT does not offer out of warranty repair or upgrade services after the original warranty period has ended.
Is the NZXT Gaming PC warranty international, or is it only available in the country/region of purchase?
All NZXT Gaming PC Warranties are only valid in the original region where the PC was purchased (i.e. a PC purchased in the United States or Canada will only carry warranty coverage within the United States or Canada).
Due to courier limitations, we are not able to provide prepaid shipping labels for customers located abroad (i.e. customers residing in overseas military bases or otherwise outside of the original region of sale) nor are we able to ship components or repaired systems abroad.
Can I upgrade my NZXT Gaming PC while it is still covered under warranty? Does upgrading my PC void my warranty?
Any modification to your NZXT Gaming PC is not covered under the NZXT Gaming PC Warranty and can result in your warranty being marked as Void by our team. These modifications include, but are not limited to:
- Overclocking or Undervolting of internal components, such as the CPU or GPU.
- Replacing or Upgrading internal components (i.e. upgrading the GPU, CPU, or Motherboard).
- Replacing or Changing the PC Chassis (aka "Case Swapping" or "Re-shelling").
- Irreversible physical modification to the PC or its components (i.e. panting the case or components, drilling/cutting holes, gluing additional items, etc.).
In the event that your PC requires warranty service, it must be returned in the original condition the PC was shipped. Any systems found to have been modified may be rejected by our RMA team at their sole discretion and may be returned at the owner's expense.
Does adding RAM or Storage to my NZXT Gaming PC void my warranty?
Issues caused by adding storage or memory to your PC are not covered by the warranty. In the event that you are experiencing issues caused after adding additional storage or memory, it is recommended to remove the memory before troubleshooting as these issues will not qualify for repair or replacement.
Does enabling Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (Intel® XMP) or AMD EXPO™ for memory overclocking void my warranty?
For memory overclocking, we provide an exception for any issues caused due to enabling Intel® XMP or AMD EXPO™. Please note, instability caused due to enabling these features is not covered by the NZXT Gaming PC Warranty. Enabling these features is a form of overclocking and carries the risk of increased system instability.
This exception does not extend to manual memory overclocking, with any issues caused due to manual timing or voltage control not being covered under the warranty. For more information on XMP and Memory Overclocking, please see the FAQ linked below:
