If you ordered an NZXT Gaming PC along with additional components or accessories such as Gaming Gear (Mouse, Keyboard, Headset, etc.) or a Monitor, you may receive these parts at a different time from your Gaming PC. This is completely normal and this article will help explain what is happening with your order.
Gaming Gear, Accessories, and Monitors may arrive before the PC for a few reasons including:
- Gaming Gear such as Mice, Keyboards, and Audio gear are smaller items that can be shipped together as part of a single package.
- Larger items such as monitors will ship separately in their own box.
- Gaming PCs require additional processing and assembly time and may ship later than the rest of your order.
All items will ship as they are available from our warehouse, with certain items being packaged together to reduce the potential shipping cost and number of packages needed. Gaming PCs in particular must go through a Quality Control (QC) inspection before they are able to be shipped from our warehouse to ensure that your system is ready to game out of the box.
Why does my PC arrive later than my accessories?
Whether you order a prebuilt PC such as the Player: One or a Custom PC from our curated selection of parts, you may notice a message at the top of your cart for your PC's lead time before checkout.
While we will strive to get your PC shipped within 2 Business Days, please note that recent sales or holidays may see this time extended. Please note however that this shipping time is independent of your shipping term selected at checkout (i.e. if you select Next Business Day shipping and there is a lead time of 2 Business Days, your system should arrive on the third business day following the order confirmation.
You may be asking why the wait? This lead time is based on availability of the PC at the time of ordering as well as if additional assembly is required. While some prebuilt PCs may be readily available to ship at the time of order, certain configurations will require additional time for assembly and validation. These PCs include but are not limited to:
- Prebuilt PCs (i.e. Player series) with customized options
- Additional fans, upgraded storage, etc.
- Custom PCs
For these orders, the PC will need additional time for assembly as well as burn-in testing and Quality Control inspection before the system will be able to leave our warehouse. If there are any issues during the assembly, our team will work to catch and resolve them before the system can ship out. This helps ensure that once your PC arrives it is ready to game out of the box.
My order is past the estimated lead time, what do I do?
If you have not received a tracking number for your order after the estimated lead time provided at checkout or in your order confirmation email, please reach out to our Customer Support team so we can take a further look into the issue.
What is a Business Day?
All work estimates provided by NZXT will be in business days unless explicitly stated otherwise and are counted from the date following the order being placed. This means that if a PC is ordered on a Friday, your first business day will be the following Monday so long as it is not a holiday.
