There are a few common reasons why the CAM software may run into an error when starting up. These include:
- No internet connection or network access (code: 2)
- CAM is being installed on an unsupported versions of Windows (Windows 8.1 or older)
- CAM or one of its dependencies is still running
To resolve these issues, we recommend to double-check your internet connection settings and to not use a VPN during the install process.
Ensure that you are on the latest version of the Windows operating system and that all instances of NZXT CAM.exe and cam_helper.exe are closed in your Task Manager.
