The number and type of ports on an NZXT Gaming PC will vary depending on the parts selected for your system. Unfortunately we are not able to provide an exact number of ports for pre-configured PCs such as our Player series. Below you will find a list of common ports found on our Gaming PCs.
DisplayPort and HDMI
DisplayPort and HDMI are the primarily display connectors that will be available on all NZXT Gaming PCs. For most GPUs, you will have 1-2 HDMI and 2-3 DisplayPort connections Visual examples of these ports and their respective cables can be found below:
Note: When connecting a display, please be sure to use the HDMI and DisplayPort connections located on the Graphics Card, as using other ports (i.e. on the Motherboard) may result in no display out.
USB Type-A and Type-C
USB is the de facto standard for connecting most peripheral devices (Mice, Keyboards, etc.) to your PC. All NZXT Gaming PC cases will include at few of these ports, generally at least 1 USB Type-A port and 1 USB Type-C port with some cases featuring additional ports at the front or top of the case.
In addition to these ports, all NZXT Gaming PCs will have a number of ports located at the rear of the PC via the motherboard's I/O plate.
The exact number of USB ports will vary from system to system depending on the motherboard. Additionally, front-panel USB-C may not be functional with some motherboards.
Ethernet
The RJ-45 or Ethernet port will be located on the motherboard's I/O plate and will be used to connect your PC to internet via a hardline connection. Some motherboards may include multiple Ethernet ports which may have varying performance. For more information on the features of your motherboard's Ethernet port, please refer to the motherboard user's manual.
The above motherboard features both 2.5G and Gigabit Ethernet.
Audio Ports
Most motherboards will include a selection of 3.5mm audio jacks located on the motherboard I/O. Most motherboards will include Speaker, Microphone, and Line In options, while others may include additional ports such as Line Out or additional outputs for subwoofers or additional speaker channels.
In addition to the above 3.5mm audio jacks your motherboard may also feature an optical S/PDIF-OUT or other specialized ports. For more information on these ports, please refer to your motherboard user's manual.
NZXT cases will also include a single 3.5mm Headset Combo Jack located near the power button. This jack is compatible with any CTIA format 3.5mm headset that includes a built-in microphone.
