If your PC is not picking up audio from the Capsule Microphone, this may be due to a misconfiguration or overlooked setting.
Check your Input Settings
In the ⚙ Settings menu for Windows, go to System > Sound and scroll down to the Input settings. Make sure that the proper device is set as your Input.
Use a Microphone Test
In the Sound settings outlined above, click the Start Test button and speak into the microphone clearly. While testing, the Input Volume bar should react. Click the Stop Test button when you're done to get a Volume % reading. If the volume is low, you may need to increase the Gain on the microphone.
Make sure the Capsule is not Muted.
All Capsule microphones include a button in the Gain dial that can toggle the Mute function on and off. If your Capsule has a Red indicator light, this means the Microphone is currently muted. Press the dial to change the indicator to White.
