Removing the NZXT Capsule Driver

To remove the driver, right-click your Start button on the bottom Task Bar and select Device Manager from the list of options.

In the Device Manager, it is recommended to click the View option at the top of the screen and choose Show Hidden Devices.  This will allow us to check for any stuck drivers as well.  We always want to make sure that Device by type is selected in the View menu.

Scroll down to the Sound, video, and game controllers category and click the > to expand the category.  With the category expanded, look for any devices listed as NZXT USB Mic, then right-click the device and choose Uninstall Device.

Checkpoint - In some cases you may see an item listed under the Universal Serial Bus controllers category listed as Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).  If you see any devices like this, right-click them and repeat the process above.

Once the device(s) are removed, unplug your NZXT Capsule and shutdown the PC.

Reinstalling the NZXT Capsule Driver

To reinstall the driver, simply plug the device back into your PC once the system has restarted.  Windows will automatically detect the device and install the necessary HID driver.
