What is the pickup pattern of the Capsule microphone?

The Capsule uses a cardioid pickup pattern, placing emphasis on audio coming directly to the front of the microphone.  This pattern was chosen with gaming and streaming in mind to help place a focus on your voice and minimize background noise such as your keyboard, mouse clicks, or other sound sources behind the microphone.

Can the pickup pattern of the Capsule be changed?

The Capsule does not feature a changeable pickup pattern and only officially supports the cardioid pattern.
