Uninstalling the CAM software is easy and can be done through the Windows ⚙ Settings application.
The settings app can be found in the Start menu either as a default pinned application or by using the search at the top of the Start menu.
Once in the Settings app, select Apps from the left side and then Installed Apps to bring up the installed list. To easily find the CAM software, set the Sort by: option to Name (A to Z).
Once you have located the NZXT CAM software, click the ... and choose Uninstall. When prompted, agree to uninstall the program and you are done.
If you'd like to make sure all files for the program are removed, the default install location for the CAM software is C:\Program Files\NZXT CAM\.
How do I remove the CAM settings files?
By default the CAM uninstaller does not include removal of your CAM settings files. This can be useful if you are doing a quick reinstall due to a corrupted update or other issue that requires a reinstall. If you need to remove the CAM settings however due to a corrupted settings file or want to do a clean uninstall you can do so by going to your AppData/Roaming folder which can be accessed by typing %AppData% in the Start menu's Search bar or in the address bar of any File Explorer window.
Once in the AppData/Roaming folder, locate the NZXT CAM folder and either rename or delete the file.
- Renaming the file (i.e. NZXT CAM to NZXT CAM BACKUP) can be useful when troubleshooting a settings related issue if you want to easily rollback the change.
- Deleting the file can be useful if you are either doing a full uninstall of the program or if there is a greater issue that requires a clean reinstall.
