With the addition of our Function Keyboard to our lineup of NZXT products comes the inclusion of many new features! This article will show you how to set up a remap of your keys via our CAM software for your Function Keyboard.

Why would I want to remap my keys?

There are many benefits to remapping the keys on your keyboard; most of these are related to efficiency. Many typists or even gamers will remap keys for improvements to their workflow and gameplay, paired with keyboard macros can allow a user to simplify many tasks.

How to remap your keys in our CAM software

To remap the keys for your Function Keyboard, you will need to go to the "Keyboard" tab and press the "Remap Keys" button.

Once pressed, a new window will pop up showing your keyboard's current layout. Remapping a key is easy to do on this page; to change the function of a specific key, you would need to drag and drop a key from the "Keys / Commands" section to the layout of the keyboard under "Key Remapping."

Pro tip! When editing your keys in this menu, all changes are immediately applied. Therefore, we don't recommend editing your base layer but the function layer. The function layer is accessed by holding the "FN" key on your keyboard.

That's it! You can now close this window and make use of any changes to your keymapping! If you need any additional assistance, please reach out to our customer service team for help.
