Is the N7 Z590 compatible with the NZXT Smart Device or RGB & Fan Controller?

The N7 Z590 is fully compatible with all USB-based NZXT products, including the Smart Device, RGB & Fan Controller, and Kraken series AIO liquid coolers.

What generation Intel® processors are supported by the N7 Z590?

The NZXT N7 Z590 supports 10th and 11th generation Intel processors.

Is the N7 Z590 compatible with AMD CPUs?

The N7 Z590 is only compatible with 10th and 11th generation Intel CPUs. For AMD compatible motherboards, please see our N7 B550 or N7 B650E motherboards for more information.

Does the N7 Z590 support Resizable BAR?

With the latest BIOS updates, the N7 Z590 does include Resizable BAR Support. Please note, this feature is experimental and we are unable to provide troubleshooting for any issues with this function.

Does the N7 Z590 support PCIe Gen 4.0?

The N7 Z590 includes support for PCIe Gen 4.0 only when using an 11th Generation Intel CPU with support for PCIe Gen 4.0. When a supported CPU is detected, the top PCIe x16 slot as well as the top M.2 slot will run in PCIe 4.0 mode.

Does the N7 Z590 support Intel® Thunderbolt™?

The NZXT N7 Z590 does not have support for Intel® Thunderbolt™.

Does the N7 Z590 support 2.5G or 5 Gigabit Ethernet?

The N7 Z590 motherboard's onboard Network Interface Controller (NIC) only supports up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet.

How many RGB headers does the N7 Z590 have?

The N7 Z590 includes two (2) 4-pin NZXT RGB headers specifically for NZXT RGB products, as well as a one (1) 12V RGB header and one (1) 5V Addressable RGB header for non-NZXT RGB products. For more information on controlling third party 12V RGB and 5V ARGB product, please check out our guide here:

Does the N7 Z590 support Gen11 NZXT RGB Devices (i.e. Aer RGB fans, RGB strips, etc.)?

The NZXT N7 Z590 supports both Gen1 and Gen2 NZXT RGB devices.

Please note - You cannot mix different generation NZXT RGB products on the same channel/port.

Can I update the UEFI/BIOS on the N7 Z590 without a compatible CPU (BIOS Flashback)?

The N7 Z590 does not include support for BIOS Flashback, however the N7 Z590 should support most 10th and 11th generation Intel processors out of the box.

Where is the BIOS Code Display on the N7 Z590?

Unlike the previous generation NZXT N7 motherboards, the N7 Z590 does not include a seven segment LED code readout. As an alternative, the N7 Z490 instead includes four Debug LEDs found in the bottom-right corner of the motherboard. These LEDs are labeled CPU, DRAM, VGA, and BOOT and can be used to isolate issues during startup.

Is CPU overclocking supported in the NZXT CAM software?

The NZXT CAM software does not include overclocking controls for the N7 Z590 motherboard.

Can I control my PC's fans within NZXT CAM using the N7 Z590?

When using the N7 Z590 motherboard and the NZXT CAM software, you will be able to control any fans connected to the SYS_FAN or CPU_FAN headers through the Cooling tab.

Is the N7 Z590 available in colors other than White or Black?

At this time we do not offer the N7 Z590 in any other colors.
