My motherboard does not support 5V ARGB, can I use a 12V RGB header instead?

Connecting the 5V ARGB connection of the Kraken Core or its included fan to a 12V RGB header will result in irreversible damage to the Kraken and/or fan.  Damage caused due to incorrect installation will result in the immediate void of your Kraken's warranty.
