The F360 RGB Core Fan (Case Version) included with the H7 Flow RGB will include a split cable to connect to either a 3-pin 5V Addressable RGB Header on your motherboard or a 4-pin NZXT RGB header like those found on our N-Series motherboards as well as devices like the Control Hub.
When connecting the included F360 RGB fan, please be sure to only use one of the two RGB connectors as plugging in both can result in severe damage to the fan and/or your PC.
Do not plug the included 4-pin NZXT RGB connector to a 12V RGB header. Connecting any NZXT devices to 12V RGB can result in irreparable damage to the device.
Connected to the Motherboard
If the fan is connected using the 5V Addressable RGB connector found on your motherboard or a compatible controller, the fan will be controlled as a generic 5V Addressable RGB device either in the motherboard or controller's software. These programs can include but are not limited to the following:
- Armoury Crate (Asus)
- Polychrome RGB (ASRock)
- MSI Center (MSI)
- Gigabyte Control Center / RGB Fusion (Gigabyte)
- Razer Chroma (Razer)
- NZXT CAM
Connected to an NZXT Controller/Device
If the fan is connected using a 4-pin NZXT header on a compatible device (i.e. Control Hub, Kraken) or motherboard (i.e. N7 B850, N9 X870E), you can control the lights on the fan using the Lighting section of the NZXT CAM software.
