How do I control the RGB fans included with the H5 Flow RGB?
The F360 RGB Core (Case Version) fan included with the H5 Flow RGB will include a split cable that will allow you to connect either to a 5V Addressable RGB (ARGB) header on your motherboard or to a 4-pin NZXT RGB header like those found on our N Series motherboards as well as the RGB & Fan Controller.
When connecting the included F360 RGB Core fan, please be sure to only use one of the two RGB connectors, as plugging in both can cause severe damage to the fan or your PC.
If the fan is connected using the 5V ARGB connector, it will be controlled as a generic 5V ARGB device in your motherboard or controller's RGB software. If the fan is connected using the 4-pin NZXT RGB connector, it will be controllable through NZXT CAM in the Lighting section.
Do not plug the included 4-pin NZXT RGB connector to a 12V RGB port! Connecting any NZXT RGB devices to 12V RGB can result in irreparable damage to the device.
How many fans does the H5 Flow support?

What radiator sizes does the H5 Flow support?
The H5 Flow supports the following radiator sizes.
All measurements are provided for radiators with a standard thickness of 30 mm paired with 26 mm thickness fans. Fans and radiators with a combined thickness greater than 60 mm may run into compatibility issues.
Can I top-mount a 360 mm AIO Cooler in the H5 Flow?
Due to the end tanks found on most liquid cooling radiators, the H5 Flow will only support 240 mm radiators in a top-mount with most RAM and will only support up to 280 mm radiators when using low-profile memory.
What is the maximum air cooler height for the H5 Flow?
The H5 Flow supports a maximum cooler height of 175 mm.
What is the maximum GPU length for the H5 Flow?
The maximum support GPU length in the H5 Flow is 425 mm, however this may be reduced if you are using a front-mounted radiator in the case. For a standard push or pull configuration, this may be reduce by up to 60 mm. For more information, please refer to your radiator and fan specs.
My microphone does not work through the top 3.5mm audio port, but my headphones work fine, how do I fix this?
The 3.5mm Headphone/Microphone combo port is made to work with any 3.5mm CTIA headset with an included microphone. Please make sure that your headset is securely connected to the 3.5mm port and that your audio device is set within Windows to the appropriate port for your headset microphone.
If you are getting loud static, the Default Format may be set too high for your microphone. The most common compatible formats are:
- 1 or 2 channel, 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)
- 1 or 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality)
If the Mic is completely unresponsive, check the model information for the headset itself and confirm that it uses a CTIA compatible 3.5mm jack. Some headsets may use the less common OMTP standard which will not be compatible with the combo port.
Is the H5 Flow compatible with Back Connect Motherboards?
The H5 Flow is not compatible with Back Connect Motherboards.
Does the H5 Flow support E-ATX motherboards?
The H5 Flow does support E-ATX motherboards up to 10.9 inches in width. Please note, to install an E-ATX motherboard you will need to adjust the pre-installed cable bar.
Is the H5 Flow compatible with the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit?
The H5 Flow is compatible with Vertical GPU Mounting Kits dated 2024 or newer. For more information, please see the FAQ for the NZXT Vertical GPU Mounting Kit linked below:
