Do I need to add fans to the S5 RGB (2026)?

Out of the box, the S5 RGB is ready to build in without any additional fans being necessary. If you're building a moderate performance system or using a Tower-style air cooler, the performance is solid without any additional fans. If you are using a more performant GPU however (i.e. RX 9700, RTX 5070, etc), we do recommend adding some additional fans to the system to improve airflow to the graphics card. When comparing the S5 RGB to the S5 RGB Deluxe, our team did see an improvement of 6.2 °C during testing.
