The Vertical GPU Mounting Kit is compatible with most full-size ATX cases released since 2022 starting with the updated H5 and H7 series.  The kit is not compatible with older models such as the H510 or H710.

How do I check the Date Code on my Vertical GPU Mounting Kit?

Some models of the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit may not properly fit in newer NZXT cases due to manufacturing tolerances on earlier runs of the kit throughout 2022 and 2023.  The kit tooling was updated in early 2024 to resolve this issue. To check the date code on your kit, start with the third digit until you reach the N as shown below on the product's serial number: 224 > 2022 April The first two digits will be the year, with the following digits before the N marking the Month.  For the above example, the date code of 224 means the kit was made in April 2022.

Is the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit compatible with third-party (non-NZXT) cases?

Depending on how the case is built, you may be able to use the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit with other non-NZXT cases.  The key features for compatibility are:

• The case must support at least 7 horizontally mounted expansion slots.
• There are no dividers between each expansion slot
• The case has an internal flat surface for the included adjustable foot, such as a power supply shroud.
  • This is not necessary but will help ensure that the bracket does not freely flex or move in the case.
