Depending on the model of your Kraken cooler, you may have the ability to control the fan speed directly through the NZXT CAM software.

* The Kraken 120 and Kraken Core series are not CAM powered devices and will not appear in the CAM software. The Kraken 120's RGB connector can be connected directly to an NZXT RGB Controller for CAM control.
** The Kraken X0 series (X40, X60) are not CAM powered devices and must be controlled through the dedicated Kraken Control software.
If your Kraken does support built in fan control, you can adjust the fan speed by choosing the Cooling option on the left sidebar and selecting the appropriate Fan in the Kraken's panel.
By clicking the Fan on the Kraken panel, you can find additional settings including the Fan Curve editor and Temperature Source.
Can I control my Fans if it is not supported in CAM?
If you have a Kraken model that does not support fan control in CAM, you will need to adjust the fan curve through your motherboard's UEFI/BIOS or control software (if applicable). For more information, please refer to your motherboard user's manual.
Can I add Fan or RGB Control through CAM if my Kraken does not support it?
If you have a Kraken that does not natively support Fan or RGB Control through the CAM software, you can add support by using an NZXT Controller such as the RGB & Fan Controller (2022), RGB Controller (included with select products), or the NZXT Control Hub. To add support, connect the appropriate connector(s) from the Fan(s) to the Controller as outlined in the controller user's manual.
| Do not connect Pump power to NZXT Controllers |
| Due to the higher overall power draw of AIO liquid cooler pumps, it is not recommended to connect any AIO liquid cooler pump directly to an NZXT Controller. This can result in over-current issues including permanent damage to the Pump and/or controller. |
