What is Snap Override?

Snap Override is a function that allows you to map two keys as opposing cardinal directions (i.e. A and D) to enable Last Input Priority SOCD (Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Direction).

Under normal circumstances, using two opposing cardinal inputs will likely result in a Neutral position (i.e. no movement).  When Snap Override is enabled, the keyboard will change this behavior to Last Input Priority where the newest input will be executed until it is released.  For example, if A and D are your strafe buttons then holding A will cause you to strafe left.  If you then press and hold the D key you will begin strafing Right until the D key is released at which point you will return to strafing Left.

Important note regarding Snap Override

Many competitive games explicitly ban the use of Last Input SOCD features such as Snap Override. Please refer to your game's support system and competitive rules before enabling this feature.

Snap Override is disabled by default on all Function Elite keyboards.
