Please note, this guide is specifically for the NZXT N7 Z370 and Z390 motherboards. If you have a newer N7 or N5 motherboard, you will need to use the guide found here instead: Enabling TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on NZXT Motherboards
By default, TPM 2.0 support should already be enabled and ready to go on the N7 series motherboards. That being said, you may experience issues with updating or installing to Windows 11 or playing games that rely on TPM and Secure Boot for anti-cheat (i.e. Valorant) unless Secure Boot is properly configured.
In order to configure Secure Boot, start by shutting down your PC and loading into the UEFI BIOS by pressing the Delete key on your keyboard at the NZXT logo screen. Once you are loaded into the UEFI BIOS, select the “Advanced” option at the top of the screen, followed by “Security” from the top bar.
Once you are on the Security tab, confirm that "Secure Boot" is set to "Enabled. If it is set to "Disabled", then you'll need to adjust this setting. To confirm the Platform Key (PK) is properly configured, set the "Secure Boot Mode" to "Custom" to enable the "Key Management" option. Open the "Key Management" settings and confirm that a Platform Key (PK) shows as enabled.
If the "Platform Key (PK)" line shows a size and Key value of 0 and says "No Keys", then you'll need to select "Restore Factory Keys" to enable the default Secure Boot key for this motherboard. If you see a that the Platform Key (PK) is already set up, you can skip this step.
Once the Platform Key is set up and Secure Boot is enabled, click "Exit" from the top bar and choose "Save Changes and Exit" to confirm your changes.
