Which NZXT cases are compatible with the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit?

How do I check the Date Code on my Vertical GPU Mounting Kit?

To confirm the date code on your Vertical GPU Mounting Kit, start with the 3rd digit until you reach the N as shown below:

The first 2 digits will be the year and the following digits before the N will be the Month.

For the example above, the date code is 224 which means the kit was made in April 2022.

Is the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit compatible with older NZXT Cases, like the H510 or H710 series?

Unfortunately the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit is not compatible with older NZXT cases without requiring potential modification to the case itself.  We do not recommend modifying the case to fit the Vertical GPU Mounting kit.

If you have an i-series case such as the H510i or H710i, or the H510 Elite you can instead use the integrated Vertical GPU Mount with our NZXT PCIe Riser Cable.

Is the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit compatible with other, non-NZXT cases?

Depending on how the case is built, you may be able to use the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit with other non-NZXT cases.  The key features that will be necessary to ensure a secure mount are:

• The case has support for at least 7, horizontally mounted expansion slots.
• There are no dividers between each expansion slot
• The case has an internal flat surface for the included adjustable foot, such as a power supply shroud.
  • While not necessary, this does help ensure that the bracket does not flex or move within the case.

Currently we do not have a complete list of all compatible cases, however you may be able to find examples through various community builds.

What size GPU is supported for the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit?

The Vertical GPU Mounting Kit should support all standard GPUs up to 3 slots in width.  It is not recommended to use any cards exceeding this size.

Can I use multiple expansion cards with the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit?

Unfortunately, due to the way this kit will mount in the case it is not possible to use the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit with other expansion cards such as WiFi and Bluetooth adapters or Capture Cards.  The Vertical GPU Mounting Kit only supports a single connected device.

What is the PCIe Generation on the NZXT PCIe Riser Cable?

The PCIe Riser Cable, as well as the Riser Cable included with the Vertical GPU Mounting Kit are PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 compatible.  This cable is also backwards compatible with previous generation PCIe slots and devices.
