NZXT - NZXT Warranty Information

How long is the warranty on my BLD PC?

Currently all BLD PCs will include a 2-year parts and labor warranty covering issues related to defects or issues caused by our assembly of the PC.

What is covered by the 2-year parts and labor warranty on my BLD PC?

All components shipped by BLD as part of your gaming PC are covered for any failure during normal use for the entire length of the warranty.  This includes replacement of the part with the same or a similar part, as well as the cost of return shipping once repairs are complete.  Issues caused by or in regards to components that you add to the system are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty does not cover issues caused by adding or changing components in the PC (i.e. adding storage or additional RAM), accidents, spills, or acts of nature (i.e. flooding, power surges, etc.).

NZXT - BLD Returns & Exchange

I want to return my NZXT BLD PC for a refund, what is the refund policy?

For NZXT BLD PCs sold within North America, all refund requests must be made within 14 days of the system's delivery.  Any requests outside of this time will not be honored.

When returning your NZXT PC for refund, you must include all accessories and cables included with the PC unless otherwise instructed by our Customer Support team.

My system is out of warranty, can I still get technical support?

BLD offers free lifetime technical support, even if your warranty has expired.  For more information, please reach out to our Customer Support team for further assistance.

Does NZXT offer out of warranty repair or upgrade services once my warranty ends?

At this time, NZXT does not offer repair, replacement, or upgrade services for BLD systems outside of the original warranty period.

Is the NZXT BLD warranty International, or is it only available in the country/region of purchase?

At this time, all warranties provided for NZXT BLD systems are only valid in the original region of purchase (i.e. a PC purchased in the United States or Canada will only carry coverage within the United States or Canada).

Due to courier limitations, we are not able to provide prepaid shipping labels for customers located abroad (i.e. customers residing in overseas military bases or otherwise outside of the original country of origin) nor are we able to ship components or repaired systems abroad.

Can I upgrade my BLD Gaming PC while it is still covered under warranty?  Will upgrading my PC void my warranty?

Any modification to your BLD Gaming PC are not covered under the NZXT BLD Warranty and can result in your warranty being marked as Void with respect to your PC.  These modifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Overclocking or Undervolting of internal components, such as the CPU and GPU.
  • Replacing or Upgrading internal components (i.e. upgrading the GPU, CPU, or Motherboard)
  • Replacing or Changing the PC Chassis (aka "Case Swapping" or "Re-shelling")
  • Irreversible physical modification to the case or components (i.e. painting the case or components, drilling/cutting holes, gluing additional items, etc.)

In the event that your PC requires warranty service, it must be returned in the original condition the PC was shipped in.  Any systems found to have been modified will be rejected by our RMA team and may be returned at the owner's expense.

Does enabling Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (Intel® XMP) or AMD EXPO™ for memory overclocking void my warranty?

In regards to memory overclocking, we provide an exception for issued caused due to enabling Intel® XMP or AMD EXPO™ for our warranty coverage.  Please note, instability caused due to enabling these features is not covered by the NZXT BLD Warranty.  Enabling these features is still a form of overclocking, and carries the risk for increased system instability.

This exception does not extend to manual memory overclocking, with any issues caused due to manual timing or voltage control not being covered under the system warranty.

For more information on XMP and memory overclocking, please see the FAQ linked below:

Please Note:  For Live Service games (i.e. Call of Duty, Fortnite, Valorant, etc.) we are unable to provide an exact FPS guarantee due to ongoing updates having immediate effects on game performance.  All estimates provided will be based on the latest version at the time of publishing.
