Why You May Receive NZXT Accessories Before Your Gaming PC

If you ordered a gaming PC with additional accessories such as a mouse and keyboard or a monitor you may notice that these parts may ship out before your PC and arrive ahead of the system itself.  Please note, this is normal for our shipment and this article will help explain what is happening with your order.

Why did my accessories (keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.) arrive before my PC?

PC accessories such as keyboards, mice, monitors, capture cards, etc. may arrive before the PC as these components are readily available at our warehouse and ready to ship.  We'll cover this more later in the article, but all gaming PCs must go through a Quality Control (QC) inspection before they are able to be shipped from our warehouse.  This allows us to confirm the PC is in working order before it is shipped out so ensure that when you receive your gaming computer it'll be a seamless plug-and-play experience with as few headaches as possible.

Why does my PC arrive later than my accessories?

Whether you get a prebuilt PC such as our Player: One series or a Custom PC with your own curated selection of parts, you may notice that at the time of checkout you see a message regarding the lead time on your PC.

While we strive to get your PC out as quickly as within 2 Business Days, please note that recent big sales or holidays may see this time extended.  Please do note however that this time is independent of your shipping term selected at checkout (i.e. if you select Next Business Day shipping and there is a lead time of 2 business days, your system should arrive on the third business day following the order being placed.

You may be asking yourself at this point why the wait?  This lead time is going to be based on availability of the PC in question and if the system needs to be assembled.  While some Prebuilt PCs may be readily available to ship at the time of order, certain systems will require additional time in order to validate the system.  These PCs include but are not limited to:

  • Prebuilt (Player and Creator series) PCs with customized options.
    • This includes but is not limited to additional fans, upgraded storage, memory, or GPUs
  • Custom PCs

For these orders, the PC will need to go through a full burn-in test and Quality Control inspection before the system is allowed to leave our warehouse.  If there are any issues during the assembly, our team will catch these and resolve them before the system can ship out.  This allows us to make sure that when your PC arrives all you need to do is unpack it, plug it in, and get to gaming with as few headaches as possible.

We're past the lead time estimate on my order, what should I do?

If you have not received a tracking number for your system after the lead time estimate and have not received a delay notice via email, please reach out to our Customer Support team and we will be glad to take a further look into this issue.

Please note that business days do not include weekends nor holidays and are counted from the day following the order being placed.  This means that if you order a PC on a Friday, your first business day will be the following Monday so long as it is not a holiday.
